Our COVID-19 Safety Precautions

At Las Cruces Dental Solutions, patient safety is always our number one priority. As we begin opening our practice once again for non-emergency services, we have implemented numerous safety precautions within our practice to prevent and reduce the spread of coronavirus.

As of right now, we are only seeing patients who are in pain or need an active infection treated, and we are not performing routine exams and cleanings until the restrictions on dental practices are lifted. If you have any questions about our safety protocols, feel free to contact our front office team, and we will be happy to offer clarification.

Before Your Appointment

When you arrive for your appointment, please text or call our front desk to let us know, and we will let you know when we are ready for you to come in. You will also be asked to complete a questionnaire and confirm that you are healthy and have not been recently exposed to COVID-19 as far as you know. If you are experiencing any coronavirus symptoms, including fever, sore throat, or a dry cough, please call our office to reschedule your appointment.

Front Office

We will have limited seating in our lobby, and we are asking that patients respect social distancing guidelines and refrain from leaning on counters. We also ask that you refrain from bringing anyone with you that does not also have an appointment unless they are accompanying a child, an adult with disabilities, or someone else who needs assistance. Please wear a face mask or face covering when you enter our office.

Treatment Rooms

Our staff will be wearing protective gear, including N95 masks, face shields, eye protection, shoe coverings, hair coverings, and surgical gowns. We have changed the traffic flow in our office, which means appointment times and treatment rooms will be staggered. We have installed HEPA filters in all of our heating and cooling systems so that the air in the office is filtered thoroughly and is not recirculated into other areas.

In addition to the new safety measures we have added, our team will also be sanitizing treatment rooms after each use and washing our hands frequently like we always do. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with our new procedures, and we look forward to working with you and your family!
