As part of our service to our patients, we want to remind you that with the end of the year approaching some of your insurance benefits DO NOT CARRY OVER for next year. With this being said, we want to remind you to make sure you know what we can do for you at Las Cruces Dental Solutions as the year approaches to an end.
To help contain costs, your plan may limit your benefits by number of procedures and/or dollar amount in a given year. In most cases, particularly if you’ve been getting regular preventive care, these limitations allow for adequate coverage. By knowing in advance what and how much your plan allows, you and your dentist can plan treatment that will minimize your out-of-pocket expenses while maximizing compensation offered by your benefits plan. The yearly maximum is the most money that the dental insurance plan will pay for your dental work within one full year. This amount varies by insurance company. The yearly maximum usually renews every year (on January 1 if your plan is on a calendar year). If you have unused benefits, these will not rollover. Again, if you have any questions give us a call today to find out more about how you can get the most out what you need as a patient before the year is over!
