Meet The Team

Dr. Tran graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry, one of the top dental schools in the country, and has practiced dentistry for around 15 years. She provides full-service general and cosmetic dentistry and is wonderful with children  .

Her hobbies include traveling, reading, Latin dance, yoga, pickleball, home remodeling, scuba diving, snow sports, and hiking. She is currently learning to play piano and to speak Korean  .

Previously, she graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2003 with a Bachelor’s degree  and brings experience from practicing in Las Cruces, NM, and Fort Worth, TX  .

Dr. Tran is known for her compassionate manner and her talent for putting patients of all ages at ease. She takes the time to explain treatment options clearly and focuses on educating patients for confident oral health care.

I’m Stephanie, I was born Silver City but grow up in Las Cruces. I’m a dedicated Dental Hygienist and Expanded Function Dental Assistant with a strong passion for patient care and comfort. Since graduating with my degree in Dental Hygiene in 2019, I’ve made it my mission to help patients feel confident and at ease during their dental visits.

I value advocating for each patient’s oral health by providing education, support, compassionate, and gentle care. Working closely in collaboration with dentists, I strive to ensure every patient receives the highest quality treatment and a positive experience from start to finish.

I enjoy spending time with friends and family, enjoying long cruises, peaceful sunsets, and great music.

Born and raised in Las Cruces NM, I have been a dental assistant for over 20 years. Graduated from LCHS in 2000.

Graduated from DACC in 2004, from their Dental assistant program.

In 2018 attended Quality Health Management in Albuquerque where I obtained my Expanded Functions Dental Assistant license. I love what I do, patient care is my specialty. I have 2 children Elisa and Diego, who are my world. I have 1 dog and 2 cats, that bring us joy. Big shout out to Jesus, for making all this possible in my life.

Margie Castro is an Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) with over 20 years of experience in the dental field. Currently from Deming, NM, Margie has built her career on a strong foundation of clinical expertise and a genuine passion for patient care. She earned her EFDA certification in 2020, expanding her ability to provide advanced, high-quality dental treatments.

Margie especially enjoys working in restorative and cosmetic dentistry, where she can help transform smiles and boost patients’ confidence. Her experience spans multiple areas of dentistry, allowing her to support a wide range of patient needs with skill and compassion.

She feels truly blessed to be part of the LCDS team and is dedicated to helping every patient feel comfortable, cared for, and confident in their smile. Margie looks forward to helping you achieve a healthy, beautiful smile.

My name is Dina and I am a dedicated and compassionate dental hygienist who is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. I earned my degree in dental hygiene in 2014, from Dona Ana College and am committed to providing gentle, thorough care in a comfortable and welcoming environment.

I believe that patient education is key to long-term oral health and enjoy taking the time to ensure each patient understands their individual needs and treatment goals. I strive to make every visit a positive experience for patients of all ages.

Outside of the office, I enjoy my four adult children and spending time with family and friends, staying active, and continuing my education to stay up to date with the latest advancements in dental care.

As a dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist at Las Cruces Dental Solutions, I am committed

Andrew is a dedicated dental professional with a strong foundation in both biological sciences and hands-on clinical training. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology (with a Minor in Chemistry) from New Mexico State University, providing him with a deep understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and scientific principles essential to modern dentistry.
His specialized certifications include:
• Certificate in Phlebotomy from Pinnacle Institute
• Certificate in Dental Assisting from Doña Ana Community College
• Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification from Santa Fe Community College, enabling him to perform advanced restorative procedures under dentist supervision.

Andrew has built extensive experience as a Lab Technician and further advanced his digital dentistry skills by completing Excite training, earning exocad certification through an intensive exceed and iTero team learning journey. This expertise allows him to design and collaborate on precise digital restorations, crowns, bridges, and other CAD/CAM applications.

He is passionate about continuing education and particularly interested in the Minimal Preparation Course by Dr. Justin Griffin, focused on conservative veneer techniques that preserve natural tooth structure while delivering exceptional aesthetic results. What drives Andrew most is the patient-centered aspect of his work. He thrives on assisting and collaborating closely with doctors on complex full-mouth rehabilitation cases—from treatment planning through execution. He builds genuine rapport with patients across every stage of their journey: the initial consultation, preparation appointments, provisional phases, and final delivery. Witnessing a patient’s renewed confidence and joy in their transformed smile remains one of the most rewarding parts of his career.

I’m an experienced expanded functions dental auxiliary with 14 years in the field. From lab work to chair side, I craft precise restorations while guiding patients through their entire journey — making sure they leave with smiles that often exceed their expectations. I’m passionate about delivering outstanding clinical care and creating beautiful, natural-looking lab work.
