Dr. Mathew Petersen is proud to be a provider of excellent dental care to the families of the Las Cruces, NM community. Dr. Petersen is originally from Arizona, where he completed his undergraduate coursework and earned a Biology degree from Arizona State University. He and his family then moved to Aurora, CO for dental school. Dr. Petersen attended the University of Colorado- Anschutz Medical Campus, and he graduated from CU with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. Since then, he has been providing dental care to the families of El Paso, TX and Las Cruces, NM. Dr. Petersen strives to become a leader within his profession and provide the best and most up-to-date dental care possible for the benefit of his patients. He has taken many hours of continuing dental education and training. Dr. Petersen is a member of the American Dental Association, New Mexico Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. In his personal life, Dr. Petersen enjoys traveling, snow skiing/snowboarding, and camping. He loves spending time with his wife and two little boys.
