Meet Dr. Mathew Petersen
Dr. Mathew Petersen is a Las Cruces dentist who provides exceptional dental care to patients of all ages.
Originally from Arizona, Dr. Petersen completed his bachelor’s degree at Arizona State University before moving with his family to Aurora, Colorado, to attend dental school. He earned his DDS degree at the University of Colorado—Anschutz Medical Campus in Denver. Since graduating, he has practiced dentistry in El Paso and Las Cruces.
Dr. Petersen completes numerous continuing education courses each year to stay up-to-date on the latest dental treatments and technologies. He is committed to providing his patients with the most advanced dental care possible.
Dr. Petersen is a member of the American Dental Association, New Mexico Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
When he’s not at the office, Dr. Petersen enjoys traveling, snowboarding, camping and spending time with his wife and their three little boys. He looks forward to getting to know you and your family, too!

Meet Dr. Mark Wagner
Dr. Wagner grew up in Modesto, California. He received his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University. While in college he worked at a dental lab, where he fell in love with dentistry. He earned his DMD degree from Roseman University in the Salt Lake City area. During school he volunteered in several community health centers, offering free dental care to those in need.
Dr. Wagner moved to New Mexico with his wife and their two year old son. They love the Las Cruces area, especially the weather, delicious local cuisine, and friendly community. Dr. Wagner enjoys watching and playing almost all sports, especially golf.
Dr. Wagner knows that dental treatment causes many people anxiety. He focuses on providing gentle and compassionate care. He is continually taking dental education courses so he can offer patients high quality dental treatment. Dr. Wagner looks forward to meeting you and your family and helping you gain a healthy smile.

Meet Dr. Gabriel Trujillo
Dr. Gabriel Trujillo was born and raised in Las Cruces, NM and is excited to back in his home town treating members of his community. He is a tried and true NMSU Aggie, earning a biology degree from the school in 2011. Dr. Trujillo is also a graduate of the Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, Nebraska where he excelled in the Prosthodontic area of Dentistry and was the recipient of the Whip Mix Best of the Best Prosthodontic award.
He is happily married and has two young children who he loves spending time with. Dr. Trujillo loves the outdoors and his hobbies include mountain biking, hunting, fishing, and hiking. He is excited to bring his clinical skills to your service.
Meet Dr. Logan Behrmann
Dr. Behrmann is a graduate of BYU-Hawaii with a degree in biochemistry. After completing his undergraduate program, he went on to study dentistry at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon. He graduated in 2005 and went on to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Wright-Patterson Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. He is also a graduate of the Schuster Center for Professional Development.
While juggling his studies, Dr. Behrmann also served in the USAF from 2003-2013 and received a Meritorious Service Medal.
Dr. Behrmann now calls the Alamogordo area home. He has spent the last 12 years practicing dentistry and treating patients from all over New Mexico. When he is not helping patients, he enjoys spending time with his three boys. Outside of work, he can often be found running a nonprofit reptile rescue and education program, crawling through obstacle course races, practicing horseback archery, backpacking, rock climbing, and traveling.
